TNECT Inc is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 volunteer community theatre. organization, based on TNECT's
management structure is made of four governing bodies which we believe offers great
opportunities for volunteer participation, and for balance between the artistic and the business
goals of the organization.

The theatre also employs a Theatre Business Manager,
Patricia Green, who is responsible for the
day to day operation of the organization and who acts as a focal point for communications ,
marketing and safety.

1. TNECT's Membership elect a Board of Directors and a Programming Committee each year.

2. The
Board of Directors sets policy and manages financial, marketing, fundraising and employment
issues and oversees final decisions made regarding shows produced and scheduling of events.

3. The
Programming Committee consists of experienced Directors, Assistant Directors, Stage
Managers & Producers. Programming approves proposals for special events, selects season shows
(subject to approval by The Board, and is responsible for the overall management of production
and artistic matters.  Programming appoints an Artistic Commitee and sets production policies for
continuity between shows.

4. The
Artistic Committee consist of at 5 individuals with many years of theatre experience through
the study and practice of the dramatic arts. The Committee researches and analyzes plays
appropriate for TNECT's audience & acting pool, and submits a selection of shows in each of 6
"categories" (i.e. Comedy, Drama, Musical, Educational, Holiday, Family) to the Programming
Committee for production by the organization. The Artistic Committee also consults with Directors
on each production, lending an objective eye to the quality of each production, making suggestions
for technical and artistic improvements, and helping to coach new actors.
The Programming
Committee meets once a
month. Programming
meetings are closed to all
but committee members
and invited guests.
The Board of Directors meets
on the third Wednesday of
each month. Meetings of the
Board are open to all
members.
